Yoga Class in Mountain View
There is a regular ongoing yoga class held at a church in Mountain View Missouri every Thursday. The class is taught by either Amrita or Dada Rudraprakashananda.
Highway Cleanup
Ananda Kanan takes responsibility for cleaning a nearby stretch of highway 60. During the winter and summer retreats, volunteers pick up trash along the highway.
Willow Springs Service Project
Also during each summer and winter retreat, there is a service project in Willow Springs. At the latest winter retreat, several brothers helped restore a caboose in a park in Willow Springs.
Nursing Home Visits
During retreats and at various times throughout the year, visits are made to the Willow Care nursing home to serenade the residents with kiirtan and do various activities.
Wildflower Mural Project
Each year Sudhiira donates a mural on the subject of wildflowers to the city of Willow Springs.
Blood Donation
Each retreat the Red Cross Bloodmobile comes and volunteers donate their blood.
Well Fed Neighbor Project
Sudhiira is helping build a website that will connect those area groups and individuals with resources to share to insure that everyone has enough to eat.
